Rule Clarification: As previously stated in our drivers meeting and 2007 banquet; Buzz, Pro Buzz, and Hot Shot cars: Huntsville Speedway will add weight right of center to dominant (multiple wins) cars, to insure realistic competition. This is instead of expensive engine teardowns.
Huntsville Speedway is pleased to announce Chris Oliver, with Oliver's Garage, will be our official crate engine re builder. A monetary bond has been posted in escrow along with this selection. Mr. Oliver has agreed to re-assemble and re-bolt any motor torn down by Huntsville Speedway officials free of charge. Bolts for this will be issued and paid for by the speedway. In order to maintain a fair and even playing field, crate motors will be subject to the same tear down as built motors. Chris Oliver will NOT be a part of tech. Johnny Robinson will continue to oversee all aspects of engine tear down. Any part removed from the engine and found to be legal will be held by Huntsville Speedway until the motor/car is taken to Oliver's Garage. At this time Huntsville Speedway will deliver the engine part for re-assembly (does not include Carb.) Does include head, cam, and valves, etc...
SPECIAL NOTICE:
UNLESS THE DRIVER IS PHYSICALLY DISABLED, ALL PERSONAL VEHICLES WILL BE REQUIRED TO PARK IN PIT AREA BEHIND THE SPEEDWAY. SPECIAL PERMISSION WILL NEED TO BE OBTAINED BY MANAGEMENT TO DRIVE ANYTHING EXCEPT RACECARS AND TRAILERS INSIDE THE PIT IN-FIELD
