QUALIFYING – 6PM; RACING WILL BEGIN PROMPTLY AT 7PM

THE WEEKLY EVENT SCHEDULE WILL BE AVAILABLE AT REGISTRATION AND AT THE SCALES

***LAP COUNTS and QUALIFYING MAY BE ADJUSTED BASED ON TIME AND/OR CAR COUNT***

TRACK/PIT SAFETY

TRAFFIC MAY EXIT THE PITS UNDER RACE CONDITIONS OUT OF TURN ONE AND TURN THREE. YOU MAY ENTER AT ANY OTHER PIT ENTRANCE FROM THE RACING SURFACE. DURING PRACTICE, WE REQUIRE THAT YOU EXIT THE PITS ONTO THE RACING SURFACE OUT OF TURN ONE ONLY SO THAT WE MAY CONTROL THE VOLUME OF TRAFFIC ON THE TRACK AT ANY GIVEN TIME. THIS IS TO HELP ELIMINATE SPEEDING IN THE PITS. DRIVERS TRAVELING AT EXCESSIVE SPEEDS IN THE PITS MAY RECEIVE ONE WARNING BY A TRACK OFFICIAL. UPON THE NEXT VIOLATION THEY WILL BE SUBJECT TO FINE AND/OR SUSPENSION BY SPEEDWAY MANAGEMENT. ALWAYS BE AWARE AND GO SLOW!

PEDESTRIANS AND CREW MEMBERS REMAIN IN YOUR PIT AREAS AND OUT OF TRAFFIC LANES. STAY OFF OF THE PIT WALLS AT ALL TIMES. LINES ARE IN PLACE INSIDE THE PIT LANES. THE INSIDE LANE IS TO BE USED FOR PITTING. WE EXPECT YOU TO HAVE YOUR RACE VEHICLE INSIDE THAT LANE WHILE PITTING. THE OUTSIDE LANE IS INTENDED FOR EXITING THE PIT. DO NOT BLOCK THE EXIT LANE WITH CARS, TIRES, JACKS, OR CREW MEMBERS WHILE YOU ARE PITTING. DURING RACE CONDITIONS ALL CREW MEMBERS, FAMILY, ESPECIALLY CHILDREN, SHOULD BE BEHIND THE YELLOW LINE AT THE END OF THE PIT BOX. ONE WARNING WILL BE ISSUED! YOU MAY THEN BE ESCORTED TO THE GRANDSTANDS OR ESCORTED FROM THE PROPERTY. AROUND THE CURVED WALLS IN THE PITS, YOU NEED TO BE A MINIMUM OF 10 FEET BACK FROM THE WALL WHILE THE TRACK IS HOT! ONE WARNING WILL BE ISSUED, THEN YOU WILL BE ESCORTED OUT OF THE PITS! NO EXCEPTIONS!

ANY CREW MEMBER SERVICING A RACE VEHICLE ON PIT ROAD MUST BE WEARING CLOSED TOED SHOES.

NO ONE MAY CROSS THE TRACK WHILE RACE VEHICLES ARE ON THE TRACK. PEDESTRIANS MAY CROSS THE TRACK UNDER THE RED FLAG, WHEN THE TRACK IS COLD. IN DIRE EMERGENCY, ANY INDIVIDUAL MAY BE ESCORTED ACROSS THE TRACK BY A TRACK OFFICIAL WHEN CONDITIONS ARE SAFE. THIS WILL NOT BE ABUSED.

DURING A CAUTION, THE DRIVER(S) INVOLVED SHOULD STAY IN THEIR VEHICLE UNTIL THE FIELD HAS SLOWED AND MUST STAY WITH THEIR VEHICLE AT ALL TIMES. DRIVERS WHO ABANDON THEIR VEHICLE ON THE RACE TRACK FOLLOWING A CAUTION OR AFTER BEING BLACK FLAGGED THAT INTENTIONALLY OBSTRUCT THE RACE PROCEEDINGS MAY BE SUBJECT TO PENALTY NOT LIMITED TO A FINE AND/OR SUSPENSION FROM COMPETITION FOR A TIME TO BE DETERMINED BY MANAGEMENT.

DRIVERS MAY NOT APPROACH A MOVING RACE CAR ON FOOT. NO CREW MEMBERS ARE ALLOWED ON TRACK DURING A CAUTION PERIOD UNLESS DIRECTED BY TRACK OFFICIALS. ALLOW THE TRACK OFFICIALS AND SAFETY CREWS TO DO THEIR JOBS.

BE AWARE OF THE TRACK SAFETY PERSONNEL AS THEY MOVE AROUND THE PITS AND TRACK DURING CAUTION. THESE PROFESSIONALS ARE HERE TO HELP PROTECT YOU! WE ALSO ASK THAT YOU PLACE SOME TYPE OF REFLECTIVE STICKER ON YOUR ROLL CAGE TO INDICATE WHERE YOUR WINDOW NET LATCH IS LOCATED. YOUR LIFE MAY DEPEND ON BEING ABLE TO FIND YOUR WINDOW NET LATCH!

 

RADIOS

RADIOS ARE AN EXTREMELY IMPORTANT MEANS OF COMMUNICATING WITH YOUR CREW AND THE MOST IMPORTANT WAY FOR THEM TO NOTIFY YOU OF IMPENDING DANGER. RADIOS ARE NOT PROHIBITED IN ANY DIVISION AT HUNTSVILLE SPEEDWAY. YOU NEED TO HAVE A RADIO ANYTIME YOU ARE ON THE TRACK, INCLUDING PRACTICE, AND IT NEEDS TO BE IN PROPER WORKING ORDER.

ALCOHOL/COOKING IN PIT AREA

NO ALCOHOL IS ALLOWED IN THE PIT AREA…PERIOD. NO BARBECUE GRILLS OR OTHER APPLIANCES WITH OPEN FLAMES ALLOWED ON SPEEDWAY PROPERTY…PERIOD. THIS CAUSES AN ISSUE WITH TRACK LIABILITY INSURANCE AND CANNOT BE ALLOWED. WE APOLOGIZE FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE.

QUALIFYING PROCEDURES

PLEASE CHECK THE HUNTSVILLE SPEEDWAY WEBSITE AT WWW.HUNTSVILLESPEEDWAY.COM OR THE RACE DAY SCHEDULE UPON ARRIVAL TO THE SPEEDWAY TO SEE IF YOUR DIVISION IS QUALIFYING THAT WEEK. IF YOUR DIVISION IS QUALIFYING, PLEASE PAY ATTENTION FOR YOUR DIVISION TO BE CALLED FOR QUALIFYING. AFTER YOUR DIVISION IS CALLED TO QUALIFY, A THREE (3) MINUTE TIMER WILL BE STARTED. AFTER THE TIMER EXPIRES, YOU MUST BE IN THE QUALIFYING LINE, IN YOUR RACE VEHICLE, AND READY TO QUALIFY. A CONE WILL BE PLACED AT THE END OF THE RACE VEHICLES IN LINE, AND NO OTHER VEHICLES WILL BE QUALIFIED FOR THAT DIVISION. WE WILL NOT HOLD UP THE EVENT TO WAIT ON RACE VEHICLES TO COME TO THE LINE TO QUALIFY. FREQUENTLY, WE WILL CALL THE NEXT DIVISION TO QUALIFY AND ASK THAT THEY LINE UP ALONGSIDE THE DIVISION CURRENTLY QUALIFYING ON PIT ROAD TO EXPEDITE PROCEEDINGS. AGAIN, FROM THE FIRST TIME YOUR DIVISION IS CALLED, YOU HAVE THREE (3) MINUTES TO GET IN LINE AND BE READY TO QUALIFY.

PRACTICE LAPS AFTER THE RACE EVENT BEGINS

THE SPEEDWAY HAS ALWAYS BEEN MOST GENEROUS IN ALLOWING COMPETITORS WHO NEED IT THE OPPORTUNITY TO TAKE PRACTICE LAPS BETWEEN RACES. IN 2018, THESE OPPORTUNITIES WILL BE EXTREMELY LIMITED AND RESTRICTED TO CASES WHERE SAFETY/CAR INTEGRITY IS IN QUESTION. BE ADVISED THAT IN THE INTEREST OF FAIRNESS TO YOUR FELLOW COMPETITORS, YOU WILL BE PLACED ON THE TRACK BEHIND THE SAFETY VEHICLE TO INSURE THAT ONLY YOUR SAFETY CONCERNS ARE BEING EVALUATED. PRACTICE IS YOUR TIME TO WORK ON A SETUP, NOT DURING OUR SHOW. FEEDBACK FROM OUR FANS IS MOST DECISIVE AND TELLS US THAT THEY PAY TO WATCH RACING, NOT SINGLE CAR PRACTICE. WE WILL ENDEAVOR TO PROVIDE THE BEST RACING COMPETITION WITH THE MOST CONSIDERATE SCHEDULE FOR OUR FANS.

SCORING

ALL RACES ARE LINE SCORED. YOU CANNOT LOSE A LAP UNDER CAUTION, ONLY UNDER GREEN. WE WILL ALWAYS GO BACK TO THE LAST COMPLETED GREEN FLAG LAP FOR THE LINEUP.

 

THREE LAP RULE

DRIVERS/CARS WHO ARE DIRECTLY INVOLVED IN A CAUTION INCIDENT (I.E. THE CAUTION WAS CALLED FOR YOUR VEHICLE) WILL BE GIVEN THREE LAPS FROM THE TIME THEIR VEHICLE REACHES THEIR PIT STALL TO DETERMINE IF REPAIRS CAN BE MADE AND EFFECT THOSE REPAIRS. DRIVERS WHO ARE NOT DIRECTLY INVOLVED IN THE CAUTION WILL NOT BE GIVEN THREE LAPS IF THEY CHOOSE TO PIT. FOR EXAMPLE, IF TWO DRIVERS IN A CAUTION COME TO THEIR PITS TO MAKE REPAIRS AND THEIR THREE LAPS HAVE ELAPSED, AND A DRIVER ON TRACK DECIDES TO ENTER THE PITS FOR SERVICE, THAT DRIVER WILL NOT BE GIVEN THREE LAPS BEFORE THE RACE RETURNS TO GREEN AS THEY WERE NOT DIRECTLY INVOLVED IN THE CAUTION.

LUCKY DOG (NEW FOR 2018)

WHEN CAUTION IS DISPLAYED DURING AN EVENT, THE FIRST RACE VEHICLE THAT IS ONE OR MORE LAPS DOWN WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE LUCKY DOG. THE DRIVER WILL BE MOTIONED AROUND THE PACE CAR AND ALLOWED TO BECOME THE FINAL CAR ON THE LEAD LAP. A CAR/DRIVER MAY ONLY GAIN ONE (1) LAP PER CAUTION PERIOD. LAPPED CARS WILL BE SEQUENCED ACCORDING TO SCORING AS CARS ONE LAP DOWN, TWO LAPS DOWN, ETC. IF THERE ARE NO CARS ONE LAP DOWN, THE FIRST CAR TWO LAPS DOWN WILL BE AWARDED ONE LAP BACK, ETC. IN DIVISIONS THAT UTILIZE THE CONE FOR RESTARTS, THE RECIPIENT OF THE LUCKY DOG WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE TO USE THE CONE UNTIL ONE FULL LAP IS COMPLETED UNDER GREEN. AT THE NEXT CAUTION, THE LUCKY DOG RECIPIENT WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE CONE.

FLAGS AND THEIR MEANINGS

GREEN – START/RESTART

YELLOW – CAUTION, SLOW DOWN SAFELY TO PARADE LAP SPEED!

BLUE/YELLOW – MOVE OVER, LEADERS ARE APPROACHING. AT HUNTSVILLE, THIS MAY BE REPLACED BY THE FOLDED YELLOW FLAG AND A GESTURE TO MOVE TO THE INSIDE TO ALLOW THE FASTER CAR THE OUTSIDE LANE.

BLACK – YOU ARE DISQUALIFIED, GO TO THE PITS IMMEDIATELY.

RED – ALL RACE VEHICLES STOP.

WHITE – ONE LAP REMAINING

CHECKERED – THE RACE IS COMPLETE.

STARTS/RESTARTS

ALL DIVISIONS WITH THE EXCEPTION OF LATE MODEL AND OPEN WHEEL MODIFIED AND ANY GUEST DIVISION THAT UTILIZES THEIR OWN START PROTOCOL WILL UTILIZE THE CONE RESTART PROCEDURE.

 

RACE RESTART PROCEDURE USING THE RESTART CONE

RACE RESTARTS, FOLLOWING THE INITIAL GREEN FLAG TO START THE EVENT AND AFTER A FULL LAP HAS BEEN COMPLETED UNDER GREEN, SHALL BE SEQUENCED USING THE “RESTART CONE.” THE PROCEDURE FOR THIS PROCESS IS AS FOLLOWS.

WHEN THE FLAGMAN GIVES THE FIELD THE INDICATION THAT ONE LAP UNDER CAUTION REMAINS UNTIL THE GREEN FLAG, A STANDARD ORANGE SAFETY CONE WILL BE PLACED AT THE MIDPOINT OF THE RACING SURFACE BY A TRACK OFFICIAL. WHEN THE FIELD APPROACHES THE CONE, THE LEADER WILL RETAIN LANE OPTION, MEANING THE RACE LEADER MAY ELECT TO RESTART THE EVENT IN THE UPPER RACING LANE, OR IN THE LOWER RACING LANE. ONCE THE LEADER HAS COMMITTED TO HIS LANE, DRIVERS IN POSITION 2 BACK THROUGH THE FIELD MAY VOLUNTARILY ELECT TO CHOOSE THE UPPER RACING LANE, OR REMAIN IN THE LOWER RACING LANE TO RESTART THE EVENT. DRIVERS MAY CHOOSE TO NOT TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE RESTART CONE AND STAY IN THE LOWER, PREFERRED RACING GROOVE. HOWEVER, THOSE DRIVERS MAY BE SURPASSED IN THE STARTING ORDER BY DRIVERS BEHIND THEM WHO ELECT TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE CONE AND START IN THE UPPER RACING LANE, TAKING THE OPPORTUNITY TO ATTEMPT TO BETTER THEIR POSITION.

ONCE A DRIVER HAS PASSED THE CONE AND MADE THEIR LANE SELECTION, THEY ARE COMMITTED TO THAT STARTING POSITION FOR THE BALANCE OF THE RESTART. THEY MAY NOT MOVE BACK INTO THEIR PREVIOUS POSITION PRIOR TO USING THE RESTART CONE.

ONCE ALL DRIVERS HAVE PASSED THE CONE, THE RESTART CONE WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE RACING SURFACE, AND THIS WILL CONSTITUTE THE RESTART ORDER FOR THE FIELD AS IT COMES TO THE GREEN FLAG.

AFTER THE FIELD TAKES THE GREEN FLAG ON THE RESTART, THE FIELD MUST COMPLETE ONE FULL LAP UNDER GREEN. IF THE FIELD DOES NOT COMPLETE ONE FULL LAP UNDER GREEN, SCORING WILL REVERT TO THE LAST COMPLETED GREEN FLAG LAP FOR THE RUNNING ORDER, AND THE CONE WILL BE REINTRODUCED.  DRIVERS MAY THEN MAKE THEIR LANE SELECTIONS OVER AGAIN, BUT WILL NOT BE COMMITTED TO THE CHOICE THEY MADE PREVIOUSLY.

THE DRIVER(S) WHO PRODUCED THE CAUTION PERIOD NECESSITATING A RESTART, AND/OR RACE VEHICLES 1 OR MORE LAPS DOWN WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO USE THE RESTART CONE, AND THEY MUST RESTART IN THE LOWER RACING LANE. ONE FULL GREEN FLAG LAP MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE THE DRIVER WHO CAUSED THE PREVIOUS CAUTION OR THE RECIPIENT OF THE LUCKY DOG WILL BE ALLOWED TO UTILIZE THE RESTART CONE.

RESTARTS FOR LATE MODEL AND OPEN WHEEL MODIFIED

STARTS AND RESTARTS WILL BE MANDATORY DOUBLE FILE. DRIVERS IN POSITIONS 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, ETC. WILL NOT HAVE AN OPTION OF REMAINING ON THE BOTTOM.  WITH 5 OR FEWER LAPS REMAINING, THE RESTART WILL BE SINGLE FILE.

JUMPING THE START

THE FLAGMAN STARTS THE RACE. THE OUTSIDE LINE SHOULD STAY EVEN WITH OR SLIGHTLY BEHIND THE LEADER ON THE INSIDE LINE. DO NOT FIRE BEFORE THE DOUBLE LINES BETWEEN TURNS 3 AND 4. IF THE FLAGMAN DEEMS YOU HAVE JUMPED THE START, HE WILL ISSUE ONE WARNING. IF YOU JUMP THE NEXT START, YOU WILL BE PLACED ON THE REAR OF THE FIELD. ON RESTARTS, THE LEADER OF THE RACE CONTROLS THE START. AGAIN, DO NOT FIRE BEFORE THE DOUBLE LINES BETWEEN TURNS 3 AND 4, BUT YOU MUST FIRE BY THE TIME YOU REACH THE SOLID LINE AT THE EXIT OF TURN 4 OR THE FIELD WILL FALL BACK UNDER CONTROL OF THE FLAGMAN.

 

MOVE OVER FOR LAPPED RACE VEHICLES

MOVE OVER AT HUNTSVILLE WILL BE TO THE INSIDE! YOU WILL SEE THE FLAGMAN DISPLAY THE BLUE FLAG WITH THE YELLOW LINE OR IF THINGS ARE HECTIC HE MAY JUST MOTION YOU OVER WITH THE FOLDED YELLOW FLAG. PLEASE COMPLY AS QUICKLY AND AS SAFELY AS YOU CAN!

CAUTIONS

SLOW DOWN WITH CAUTION (DO NOT JAM UP THE FIELD BEHIND YOU), GO SINGLE FILE, WATCH FOR TRACK OFFICIALS TO PUT YOU IN LINE.

DO NOT INTENTIONALLY HIT ANOTHER RACE VEHICLE UNDER CAUTION. THIS WILL RESULT IN A BLACK FLAG AND BEING PARKED FOR THE NIGHT.

NO CREW MEMBERS MAY WORK ON A RACE VEHICLE ON TRACK DURING A CAUTION. IF THIS OCCURS, YOU WILL BE SENT TO THE REAR FOR THE RESTART.

IF TRACK OFFICIALS STOP YOUR CAR TO ASSESS LEAKS OR DAMAGE AND YOU ARE ALLOWED TO CONTINUE, YOU WILL NOT LOSE YOUR CURRENT POSITION.

IF YOU LOSE AN ENGINE DURING A RACE, QUALIFYING, PRACTICE, OR ANY OTHER ON TRACK ACTIVITY, PLEASE MOVE TO THE APRON AS QUICKLY AND AS SAFELY AS POSSIBLE. THIS IS TO MINIMIZE TRACK CLEAN UP TIME AND TO PRESERVE A GOOD RACING SURFACE FOR EVERYONE.

SPIN RULE

THE DRIVER(S) FOR WHOM THE CAUTION WAS THROWN WILL BE PLACED TO THE REAR OF THE FIELD. BOTH THE DRIVER WHO SPINS AND THE DRIVER WHO CAUSED THE SPIN OR CRASH WILL GO TO THE REAR.  THE INTENTION SHOULD BE TO RACE OTHERS THE WAY YOU WISH TO BE RACED. WE HAVE AND WILL CONTINUE TO BE CONSISTENT ON THIS. DRIVERS WHO SPIN TO AVOID COLLISION WILL NOT BE PENALIZED.

SPORTSMANSHIP CLAUSE: IF A DRIVER INSTIGATES A SPIN OR CRASH AND WISHES TO CLAIM RESPONSIBILITY FOR CAUSING THE INCIDENT, HE OR SHE MAY REACH TO THE ROOF OF THEIR RACE VEHICLE AND TAP THEIR ROOF WITHIN VIEW OF THE FLAGMAN AND RACE CONTROL. THE DRIVER WHO WAS SPUN/WRECKED WILL BE ALLOWED TO RETAKE THEIR POSITION IN THE RUNNING ORDER IF POSSIBLE AND THE DRIVER TAKING RESPONSIBILITY WILL BE PLACED AT THE REAR OF THE FIELD FOR THE SUBSEQUENT RESTART. THE SPORTSMANSHIP RULE CAN NOT BE USED TO ALTER THE RESTART ORDER OF A RACE AS DETERMINED BY SCORING. IF A DRIVER WISHES TO YIELD A POSITION TO ANOTHER DRIVER ON A RESTART, THEY MUST FALL BEHIND ALL OTHER DRIVERS ON THE LEAD LAP.

OVERAGGRESSIVE DRIVING

ANY COMPETITOR WHO IS DEEMED TO BE ENGAGING IN BLATANTLY OVERAGGRESSIVE DRIVING WILL BE ISSUED ONE (1) PULL OVER WARNING BY AN ON TRACK OFFICIAL. OVERAGGRESSIVE DRIVING BY THE SAME DRIVER OCCURRING AFTER THE PULL OVER WARNING WILL BE DEALT WITH BY IMMEDIATE BLACK FLAG. ANY DRIVER WHO PERSISTS IN THIS BEHAVIOR AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN BLACK FLAGGED WILL BE SUBJECT TO FINE AND/OR SUSPENSION FROM COMPETITION FOR A TIME PERIOD THAT WILL BE AT THE DISCRETION OF TRACK MANAGEMENT.

 

PREVIOUS RACE WINNER

IN ALL DIVISIONS WITH THE EXCEPTION OF LATE MODEL , OPEN WHEEL MODIFIED, SPORTSMAN, AND STAR SUPERTRUCKS, THE WINNER OF THE LAST RACE WILL START IN THE REAR OF THE FIELD FOR THE NEXT RACE HE OR SHE COMPETES IN. THIS APPLIES TO BOTH THE DRIVER AND THE RACE VEHICLE. IF MULTIPLE DRIVERS NEED TO FULFILL THIS REQUIREMENT IN THE SAME RACE, THEY WILL BE LINED AT THE REAR OF THE FIELD IN CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER OF THEIR WIN, MOST RECENT WINNER LAST.

COMPLAINTS ABOUT CALLS BY TRACK OFFICIALS

WE HAVE NO EXPECTATION THAT ALL COMPETITORS WILL AGREE WITH EVERY CALL RENDERED BY TRACK OFFICIALS. HOWEVER, DURING THE RACE EVENT, NO CALLS WILL BE DISCUSSED AND/OR CHANGED. YOU ARE WELCOME TO EXPRESS YOUR GRIEVANCE SO THAT IT MAY BE REVIEWED BY TRACK OFFICIALS. WE ASK THAT YOU SUBMIT YOUR GRIEVANCE IN WRITING, TO THE SPEEDWAY EMAIL ADDRESS (HUNTSVILLESPEEDWAY@MAIL.COM) EXPLAINING YOUR COMPLAINT, WHEN IT OCCURRED (LAP NUMBER, RESTART, TECH INSPECTION, ETC.), AND THAT YOU CITE THAT PORTION OF THE RULE BOOK THAT SUPPORTS YOUR CASE IN QUESTION AND DISPROVES THE RULING OF THE TRACK OFFICIALS. THIS PROCEDURE ALLOWS COOLER HEADS TO PREVAIL AND WILL PROVIDE FOR A CIVIL, FACT-BASED DISCUSSION OF DISAGREEMENTS. WE REMIND YOU, THE DECISIONS AND RULINGS OF THE RACE DIRECTOR AND TRACK OFFICIALS ARE BINDING AND FINAL.

BLACK FLAGS

IF YOU ARE SHOWN THE BLACK FLAG BY THE FLAGMAN, YOUR SCORING IS STOPPED AND YOU MUST LEAVE THE TRACK IMMEDIATELY AND RETURN TO YOUR PIT. ONCE YOU ARE GIVEN THE BLACK FLAG, YOU ARE FINISHED FOR THE EVENING. YOU WILL HAVE THREE LAPS TO COMPLY OR YOU WILL FORFEIT POINTS AND PAY FOR THE EVENT AND POSSIBLY FACE A FINE AND/OR SUSPENSION.

LAST LAP

ONCE THE WHITE FLAG HAS BEEN THROWN FOR THE RACE LEADER, WE WILL RACE BACK TO THE CHECKERED FLAG. IF AN ACCIDENT OCCURS DURING THE FINAL LAP, THE FLAGMAN WILL ACTIVATE THE CAUTION LIGHT ALONG WITH THE GREEN TO ALERT YOU THAT THERE IS A POTENTIAL HAZARD ON THE TRACK. SPOTTERS PLEASE BE CAREFUL TO INFORM YOUR DRIVER OF THE LOCATION OF THE HAZARD. IF THE TRACK IS BLOCKED IN SUCH A WAY THAT ENDANGERS A DRIVER, THE CAUTION WILL BE DISPLAYED AND THE RACE WILL BE OVER WHICH WILL DECLARE THE LEADER AT THE WHITE FLAG THE RACE WINNER. NO SPIN TO WIN! IF THE DRIVER LEADING THE RACE IS “DUMPED” BY THE SECOND PLACE DRIVER, THEN THE DRIVER IN THIRD PLACE WILL BE DECLARED THE RACE WINNER.

ABSOLUTELY NO FIGHTING, PHYSICAL VIOLENCE, LEWD OR OBSCENE BEHAVIOR BETWEEN DRIVERS, CREWS,  AND/OR SPECTATORS WILL BE TOLERATED! DRIVERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ACTIONS OF THEIR CREW, SPONSORS,  AND FAMILY MEMBERS AT ALL TIMES WHILE ON SPEEDWAY PROPERTY. WE UNDERSTAND THIS IS AN EMOTIONAL SPORT. CHECK YOUR TEMPER BEFORE YOU ACT! FAILURE TO DO SO MAY RESULT IN BEING ESCORTED FROM THE PROPERTY AND POSSIBLY BANNED FROM COMPETING AT HUNTSVILLE SPEEDWAY. THERE CAN ALSO BE LEGAL RAMIFICATIONS FOR PHYSICAL ASSAULT ON AN INDIVIDUAL AND/OR ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY WEAPON CHARGES FOR GOING AFTER ANOTHER INDIVIDUAL OR THEIR CAR WITH YOUR RACE VEHICLE.
