Huntsville Speedway Alabama Suspends May 2nd & May 9th events

TARGET OPENING DATE: Saturday, May 16th, 2020 Huntsville, AL (Tuesday, April 28, 2020) – The start of race season at Huntsville Speedway Alabama has been further delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Today, Gov. Kay Ivey released the route for reopening the state of Alabama.

The management at Huntsville Speedway Alabama will therefore suspend the racing program for May 2nd and 9th. Private testing, under strict social distancing guidelines is still allowed, contact the management of the speedway for details. Our plan continues to be as previously stated, start the season as soon as the Alabama state and local government allow. Be prepared to start the season with short notice.

Our target date to open: Saturday, May 16th, 2020 with Buster’s Pro Late Model 100 lap event plus 50 laps for SuperTruck, 20 laps for Super Stock, 20 laps for Mini Modified, 15 laps for Hot Shot and 15 laps for Buzz.

We ask our faithful supporters to watch for updates per social media and website. The governor will update in approximately two weeks as for the future status.

Thanks for the continued understanding and cooperation during this time.
